Dalit Welfare Association is a non-profit organization focused on empowering underprivileged communities through sustainable development.
We are one of the most experienced voluntary organizations in Kurnool district. We started our work in 1993 and the mission of our strong team of professionals is to enlighten and inform the society through various development activities to empower dalit people.We are working with Tribals, Daliths, women, fisher folk, farmers & children to improve their Health, Economical and Social conditions. we have been working for the holistic development of marginalized and oppressed people in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
To work for the welfare of the under privileged sections of the society by providing them minimum facilities to maintain good health and sanitation.
To serve and uplift the small and marginal farmers through Agriculture training centres, by digging community Irrigational wells.
To start study centres, Libraries, to improve women welfare programmes in rural areas.
To organize and maintain thrift and mutually aided credit for self help groups.
To educate, train and instruct adults and children, irrespective of religions, race, community, caste, language and of social status by taking over/ establishing/ endowing/conducting schools, colleges, institutions, bridge schools, Adult and Non Formal Educational Centres.
To establish, run and maintain Vocational Training Institutions, Technical Training Institutions and provide training to the unemployed youth in different vocational training programmes, cottage & village industries and all other skill development trainings of State and Central Governments in order to start their self employment units as well as increase the employment opportunities and betterment of their living standard
